    An exhibition celebrating women’s handicrafts, a hymn to manual skills that has no gender. Know-how is the core: a tale of tenacity and passion, a thread linking times, places and people.<\/p>\n

    The exhibition opens with a contemporary installation that narrates the present time by using handicraft objects. The tour continues with three rooms that, work by work, tell the story of the passion of the hobby craftswomen, the life choice of the professional craftswomen and the preservation of a tradition from the past with the textile cooperatives. The hall dedicated to hobbyist craftswomen will be set up during the days of the fair through the works selected from the exhibitors’ stalls.<\/p>\n

    From weaving to sculpture, from carving to ceramics, the exhibition is a journey between tradition and innovation, between manual skills and creativity of Aosta Valley craftswomen.<\/p>\n

    Ogni anno la Fiera di Sant\u2019Orso \u00e8 rappresentata da un simbolo che riproduce in miniatura un oggetto della tradizione artigianale valdostana.<\/p>\n

    Per il 2024, la ditta Les Amis du bois di Corrado Brunet e lo scultore Enrico Massetto hanno realizzato un ciondolo che raffigura il galletto, uno dei simboli della millenaria.<\/p>\n

    La forma stilizzata del galletto, che si fonde con un cuore, gli conferisce un aspetto pi\u00f9 ricercato che evoca un sentimento trasversale della fiera (sia per chi espone che per chi visita): la passione e l\u2019amore per la tradizione e per l\u2019evento.<\/p>\n

    Il ciondolo, che riproduce i colori della bandiera valdostana, potr\u00e0 essere acquistato dai visitatori nell\u2019Atelier des M\u00e9tiers (negli stand di Enrico Massetto e di Corrado Brunet), nei loro banchi lungo il percorso della fiera (n. 743 in via Croce di citt\u00e0 e n. 229 via Porta Pretoria ) e nella postazione del punto selfie all\u2019Arco d\u2019Augusto.<\/p>\n

    Telling the Fair through social media with a giant cockerel. Next to the Information Point at the Arch of Augustus, from Saturday 27 to Wednesday 31 January, the sculpture sponsored by the Bard Fortress will be on display.<\/p>\n

    A work created by sculptor Enrico Massetto with Le Amis du Bois by Corrado Brunet, depicting the 2024 pendant in an extra-large version: the traditional cockerel symbol of the Foire, more than two metres tall, next to which to take a souvenir photo of the event. The sculpture will then be permanently exhibited at the Fortress of Bard.<\/p>\n

    On the one hand, the Boniface family, in the delicate position of prolonging the memory of witnesses recorded or uncovered in books; on the other, the talented accomplices chosen to visit the territories where the diatonic accordion moves to advance traditional music through composition and improvisation with the urgency of pushing the sounds into the current of the new millennium.<\/p>\n

    The diatonic accordion, symbol of the Trouveur family for more than five generations, is also mixed with the sounds of the violin and hurdy-gurdy, an emblematic presence in the history of the Troubadours. Other instruments are added: the accordion, piano and synthesizer to create a timeless blend that combines with what the voice can reproduce through beatbox practice.<\/p>\n

    Other artists, among the best-known interpreters of song in Franco-Proven\u00e7al, enrich the evening: Luis de Jyaryot author and historical interpreter of the Ayas valley, Maura Susanna author and interpreter of the songs of Magui B\u00e9temps, Philippe Milleret, representative of the new generation of song in patois.<\/p>\n
