Every winter, in a valley of giants, the mountains come alive, releasing stories carved in wood, stone, and iron.
A spell on the city
If the essence of the Aosta Valley could take form, it would be that of the Saint-Ours Fair.
An event that has survived for thousands of years, guardian of granite-like traditions, solid as the mountains.
The Fair is the crisp air, filled with dialect and solemn songs; the intense aroma of mulled wine; the cheerful chatter of those crossing the city in celebration, and the calloused hands of artisans.

From Valdostan crafts to the most creative items: work tools, sculptures, and much more.
Not only hobbyists but also artisan schools and companies exhibiting their works.
All accompanied by folkloric performances and a food & wine pavilion to taste the region’s finest products.
A MEETING MOMENT
Friendliness, the desire to reconnect and spend time together: the Fair is the opportunity to meet again after a year and exchange advice, smiles, and hugs.
The most awaited moment? La Veillà, the all-night celebration between January 30 and 31, when the streets of Aosta come alive with the cellars and their prized wines.
