Turners without borders

A meeting of traditions, regions, and the evolution of woodturning.

A four day exhibition, from July 30 to August  2, in the Atelier des Métiers exhibition space.

An opportunity for the public to discover and explore diverse woodturning traditions and techniques from across different regions.

Three live demonstrations, scheduled for 30 and 31 July and 2 August, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. and 5:30 to 7:00 p.m., featuring woodturners Pascal Christophel (France), Marc Probst (Switzerland) and Rudy Mehr (Aosta Valley, Italy).

In collaboration with I Torneurs de la Basse Vallée, Turners Without Borders is an event dedicated to woodturning, bringing together woodturners from the Aosta Valley, Italy, and around the world to meet, share experiences, and exchange ideas. Its aim is to showcase the diversity of regional woodturning traditions by highlighting different techniques, materials, and approaches, while also presenting to the public the contemporary evolution of this ancestral craft.
